After being taken for granted by (h/h/t) family, Benjamin Ostrander, a reckless nurse practitioner  from Bowling Green, Kentucky, winds up unconscious in the back of a butcher shop and must overcome (his/her/their) lack of confidence in order to find (h/h/t) parents and become stranded on a deserted island.
