After being intimidated before testifying at trial, Peyton Lage, a prejudiced respiratory therapist from Glendora, California, winds up regaining consciousness at dusk in a farmhouse and must overcome (his/her/their) lethargy in order to champion a cause and be unable to resolve (h/h/t) inner conflicts.
