After being taken for granted by (h/h/t) family, Duane Duffy, a oversensitive environmental engineer from Portage, Michigan, winds up unconscious in the back of a butcher shop and must overcome (his/her/their) reluctance to help in order to find religion and find out that (h/h/t) entire life has been a lie.
