After being taken for granted by (h/h/t) family, Kellan Carmichael, a self-indulgent political scientist from Waco, Texas, winds up locked in the waiting area of a doctor’s office and must overcome (his/her/their) faint-hearted nature in order to overcome an addiction and come to terms with (h/h/t) past and move forward.
