After having (h/h/t) child fall seriously ill, Elliot Seamon, a weak-willed accountant from Tulsa, Oklahoma, winds up unconscious in the high roller room of a casino and must overcome (his/her/their) faint-hearted nature in order to learn a new skill and enjoy a happy reunion with loved ones.
